I'm not sure about the status of your playgroup, but I also would suggest sweepers like Cataclysm, Tragic Arrogance, Mutilate, Cyclonic Rift, basically any sweeper that says "Sacrifice", "Bounce" or "-X/-X" to account for cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope

I do love love the Team Rocket set, and I do think the fact that it was the first set to feature Dark cards makes it somewhat unique, but the fact that there are no rookie cards combined with the fact that many of the species (Arbok, Slowbro, Vileplume, Hypno, Weezing, etc.) that landed holos in this set just arent very popular species in general lessens its overall luster
